Activity: Last week in school we used lots of colour pieces of paper to create an Elmer mosaic. We read an Elmer story and spent lots of time talking about people and how this story relates to them. We discussed what makes us unique and how we should value everyone and be kind to others, no matter what they look like. This was a nice calm afternoon and could be done with any picture of your choice. You’ll need some coloured paper, or you could create squares within an outline and ask the child to use different colours to create a mosaic.
