Number Monday. Continuing with last week’s counting in 2s, dig out those flashcards you made and revisit the activities and ordering tasks again as a warm up for your Maths. You might want to make flashcards for 5s (0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45 & 50) and 10s (0,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100) and repeat the tasks. Short, sharp sessions of these across the week will help. If your child struggles are one over another e.g. 5s then you might spend more time on these than the others.

Today we will be using Oak Academy to compare numbers within 100 on a number line. To begin with there is a short quiz of 4 questions around place value and how many tens or ones a number has.

This week we are going to begin using Oak Academy to assist you in the Home Learning. The lovely Miss Brown from Oak Academy will be guiding you through a range of activities linked to the popular book ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ written by Judith Kerr. Today’s brief phonics session covers ‘ee, ea & y’ but you can also use the ‘Letters & Sounds’ online phonics too. During this clip she refers to spellings for the week but we will continue with the spellings that we have sent you. We will share the link for you to use each day to continue with the sequence of lessons.
