Tuesday English/PSHE

Today’s feeling to discuss is sad. As a family, this will involve you talking openly about a time when you’ve felt sad. What did you do? How did you overcome this sadness? Did you manage your actions well when you were sad, did anyone help you? Did you make good choices? (Allow your child time to think before responding, they may find talking about this difficult but by waiting patiently and sharing your own worries, it will enable them to open up.) Discuss other scenarios about when people might be feeling sad. Talking openly about feelings is really important and listening to your child and enabling them to have a voice is really key.
