Friday English/PSHE

Today’s feeling to discuss is joy. As a family, this will involve you talking openly about a time when you’ve felt joy or happiness. What happened? Did you feel happiness by something you did or the actions of someone else? Did you manage your actions well when you were happy? (Allow your child time to think before responding, they may find talking about this difficult but by waiting patiently and sharing your own feelings, it will enable them to open up.) Discuss other scenarios about when people might feel happiness and joy. Talking openly about feelings is really important and listening to your child and enabling them to have a voice is really key.
